Access Keys

Access keys let you navigate around this website without using your mouse. They can be used to jump directly to different sections of the site.

The main navigation may be accessed with the keyboard using access keys. Please use the appropriate modifier key for your browser, described below, along with the keys above.

Internet Explorer 5+ (Windows)

  • Hold down the ALT key, press the access key, release both keys, then press 'Enter'.

Firefox, Safari & Chrome (Windows)

  • Hold down the ALT key and press the access key.

Firefox, Safari & Camino (Mac)

  • Hold down the CTRL key and press the access key.

Chrome (Mac)

  • Hold down the CTRL + At keys, then press the access key.

Opera (Mac & Windows)

  • Hold down the 'Shift' key and press 'Escape', release both keys, then press the access key.

Text Size

If you want to alter the text size and graphics displayed on this site, use the modifier keys below according to your browser:

Internet Explorer 5+ (Windows)

  • Open the 'View' menu with the mouse or by pressing ALT + 'V'.
  • Select the 'Text Size' option with the mouse or by pressing 'X'.
  • Choose your preferred text size with the mouse or by using the up and down arrow keys and pressing 'Enter' or by clicking on it.

Firefox, Safari & Chrome (Windows)

  • Press CTRL and '+' to increase the text size.
  • Press CTRL and '-' to decrease the text size.

Firefox, Safari, Chrome & Camino (Mac)

  • Press CMD and '+' to increase the text size.
  • Press CMD and '-' to decrease the text size.

Opera (Mac & Windows)

  • You can increase or decrease the size of both text and graphics using the numberpad '+' and '-' keys.

Browser Compatibility

This site has been tested in all modern browsers on Mac OSX and Windows. Pages on this site benefit from structured semantic markup. This means that if your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets, the content of each page is still readable and is presented in a logical order. You can choose to switch off style sheets in many modern browsers if you so wish.

There may be some inaccuracies with page rendering in isolated cases. If this occurs, please contact us with the page you are having problems with.

This site has been designed and built in accordance with guidelines laid down by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and the RNIB, to help make this site as accessible as possible to all visitors including those with visual impairments, hearing impairments, motor skill impairments or learning difficulties.
